Automated Generation of Lattice Qcd Feynman Rules Manuscript Title: Automated Generation of Lattice Qcd Feynman Rules
نویسندگان
چکیده
The derivation of the Feynman rules for lattice perturbation theory from actions and operators is complicated, especially for highly improved actions such as HISQ. This task is, however, both important and particularly suitable for automation. We describe a suite of software to generate and evaluate Feyn-man rules for a wide range of lattice field theories with gluons and (relativistic and/or heavy) quarks. Our programs are capable of dealing with actions as complicated as (m)NRQCD and HISQ. Automated differentiation methods are used to calculate also the derivatives of Feynman diagrams. Theory Nature of problem: Derivation and use of perturbative Feynman rules for complicated lattice QCD actions. Solution method: An automated expansion method implemented in Python (HiPPy) and code to use expansions to generate Feynman rules in Fortran95 (HPsrc). Restrictions: No general restrictions. Specific restrictions are discussed in the text. Running time: Very problem specific, depending on the complexity of the Feynman rules and the number of integration points. Typically between a few minutes and several weeks.

متن کاملHigh Precision Fundamental Constants using Lattice Perturbation Theory
The HPQCD collaboration has a program for determining the fundamental constants of the Standard Model Lagrangian from lattice QCD. The most accurate method of doing this uses the n f = 2 + 1 improved staggered MILC ensembles with chiral fitting and multi-loop perturbative renormalisation to connect to the continuum MS scheme. This program has already been very successful with the recent strong ...

We discuss the weak coupling expansion of lattice QCD with the overlap Dirac operator. The Feynman rules for lattice QCD with the overlap Dirac operator are derived and the quark self-energy and vacuum polarization are studied at the one-loop level. We confirm that their divergent parts agree with those in the continuum theory. PACS: 11.15.Ha

The low energy effective Hamiltonian of the standard model includes ∆S = 1 four-fermion operators with corresponding Wilson coefficients, which contains all the short-distance physics. The low energy effects of the electroweak and strong interactions can be expressed in terms of matrix elements of the four-fermion operators between hadronic states. Lattice QCD is wellsuited to calculate these m...

In the continuum regime the running coupling constant of QCD, obtained through the ghost-gluon vertex in maximally Abelian gauge (MAG), depends only on the renormalization factor of the diagonal gluon propagator, due to cancellation of the other renormalization factors. This fact is a clear manifestation of Abelian dominance. In this work we present a tree-level calculation (Feynman rules) of t...
